End of Tenancy Carpet Cleaning on the Wirral

For tenants handing back the keys, and for landlords and letting agents getting a property ready for the next tenant.

Empty rented flat with a clean neutral carpet ready for new tenants

If you are moving out

Carpets are one of the first things checked at the end of a tenancy. Marks that have built up over the years are easy to miss until the furniture has gone.

  • Book for after your furniture has gone, if you can
  • Leave time for the carpets to dry before check-out
  • Tell us about any stains or pet accidents
  • Ask us for a receipt to keep with your records

Check your tenancy agreement and check-in inventory so you know what state the carpets should be returned in. See can a landlord charge for carpet cleaning?

If you are a landlord or letting agent

Empty properties need turning round quickly, and a fresh carpet helps a home make a good first impression on the next tenant.

  • Tell us the dates between tenancies
  • Let us know how access or keys will work
  • Ask for an invoice for your records
  • Talk to us about more than one property

Looking after offices or shared areas too? See commercial carpet cleaning.

What if the marks will not come out?

Normal wear will not clean away, and some stains are permanent. We will tell you what we think before we start, so you can plan accordingly. Standard carpet cleaning and stain removal are both available as part of the same visit.

Common questions

It depends on your tenancy and the condition of the carpet. Check your agreement and inventory, and see GOV.UK guidance on the Tenant Fees Act. This is general information, not legal advice.

Tell us your move-out date on the quote form and we will let you know what we can do. The more notice you can give, the better.

Ask us for one when you book, so you have it for your records.

Allow enough time for drying, ideally the day before you hand the keys back.
